Girls Volleyball CampThis camp will be held in the Recreation Center. You will have a great time in the air conditioned gym learning all the skills and drils to make you a top notch player. Lots of play and fun volleyball type games will be played. Please bring water and knee pads. Date: July 29- August 1 |
Bricks 4 Kids - Junior RoboticsUsing WeDo software, campers will be able to program the robots they craft out of Lego® bricks. WeDo bridges the physical world, represented by Lego models, and the virtual world of computers and programming software, providing a hands-on, minds-on learning experience that actively involves young students in their own learning process. Drag-and-drop icon-based software provides an intuitive and easy-to-use programming environment suitable for beginners and experienced users alike. The technology platform allows a new but natural process that gives kids the opportunity to direct their own learning through experimentation of programming sequences using a variety of models – the sky is the limit in this fun “techie” camp. Deck Hockey CampDeck Hockey is a game of fun and speed! Utilize the Anderson Farm Park Deck Hockey Rink for the week and learn the rules of the game, practice offense and defense, and play in a tournament situations. Day trips include swimming and ice skating are included. Basketball Camp –Impact SportsImpact Sports has been working with us for a number of years and supplies and energetic camp that will help build dribbling, shooting, rebounding, passing and defense skills through fun exercises and games. Total Soccer Camp - by Impact SportsImpact Sports has been working with us for a number of years and is known for their ability to teach soccer. They take on a veriety of soccer activities in a fun and exciting way. This open to 3 to 5 years old but only for an hour and half. Adventure CampThis camp is packed with adventure, featuring a different field trip each day. We will travel by bus to the different adventures. Ratio is no more the 1:10 and is supervised by adults. This is a great way to spend the summer trying new adventures each and every day. Out trips include Brunswick Zone, Whitaker Center for Science, Dorney Park, Independence Seaport Museum, and Philadelphia Zoo, it is going to be an exciting adventure. If your child has a sense of adventure this is the camp for them. Art CampExplore a variety of art and craft media with our brand new Art Camp! This was packaged with our Nature Art Camp last year and now we are offering just the Art Camp as a three day camp. While we will focus on art and all your creativity, we will be also having the opportunity to experience the camp situation! All materials are included in the price and also includes a half-day field trip. |
Musical Theater Camp: Singing & Dancing the Sound of MusicGet in touch with your ACTING, SINGING and DANCE side. No longer do you sing in your bedroom by yourself or dance in your mirror. Come to this Musical Theater Camp and meet friends just like you who like to sing and dance. This camp is doing the famous Sound of Music songs in this “Glee” style production! We will work on all the aspects of a production and then have your friends and family come out to our show on Friday afternoon. Nature CampDoes your child like the outdoors or would you like them to experience it. We hit the great outdoors at Anderson Farm Park and the Campers will explore nature it has to offer and learn about sustainability. Each day features a nature hike so Campers are asked to bring long sleve shirts and pants, with socks and good stable shoes. Tween/Teen Adventure CampYOU ASKED WE ANSWERED!!!! NEW this year!! We will be a traveling day camp designed specifically for older campers (12 to 15 years of age,) featuring a different action and adventure field trip each day. Campers will be dropped off and picked up at Anderson Farm Park and will provide their own lunch and drink, and will have an opportunity to go somewhere each and every day. Mad Science Camp: Mad Machines & Rockin’ RocketsJoin us for a fun-filled week of science experiments and cool projects. Topics include Mad Machines, Earth’s Amazing Wonders, Rocketry & Flight, Survival! Predators & Prey, Shake it Up! Children will have loads of fun learning about simple machines and creating their own mini-sonic race car. They will also get a chance to investigate the basics of geology and the wonders of nature with Earthquake’s – Volcanoes & more. All students will witness a thrilling outdoor rocket launch. Camp Black RockCamp Black Rock is our most popular camp and fills up fast. This four week outdoor camp is filled with activites for the campers to do all day long. We enjoy sports and games in the morning hours, then slow the pace in the afternoon for arts & crafts as well as exciting day trips such as swimming, bowling and more! Mad Science Camp: - Red Hot RobotsSpend this Summer playing with our super cool Red-Hot Robots! | Program Cancellation and Refund Policy: Upper Providence Township reserves the right to cancel any program, trip or activity due to insufficient registration, inclement weather or any reasonable cause; in this case a full refund will be issued. Requests for refunds due to participant cancellation must be made 14 days prior to the start of the program; refunds will be issued less a 15% processing fee. Within 14 days of the start of a program, a credit will be issued for use toward future registrations. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellation of bus trips, or cancellations made after the start of a program. There is a $25.00 fee for all returned checks. |
